ADMISSION POLICY AND PROCEDURES
POLICY
Colegio Maya is a private bilingual, international, co-educational college-preparatory school for grades Pre-Kinder through 12th grade. The school welcomes qualified applicants regardless of their race, religion, ethnic and national origins.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
1. Parents should submit a completed and signed application form with a $25.00 application fee. (download English)
2. The application fee is not refundable and is not applied to tuition.
3. Academic records of previous school years and MINED certificates (if applicable).
4. Standardized test scores, such as SAT, PSAT, PAES, etc. (if applicable).
5. A letter of good conduct (if applicable).
6. Teacher’s letters of recommendation (if applicable).
7. Birth Certificate.
8. One recent ID size picture.
9. Medical history and health record.
10. Vaccination record.
11. A letter of financial solvency from the previously attended school (if applicable).
12. If the child has been evaluated by a psychologist or psychiatrist, please submit a copy of the evaluation.
13. An interview with the admission personnel.
14. The child must take the Colegio Maya Admission Test.
ENROLLMENT
1. The student must satisfactorily complete the admission test.
2. The Colegio Maya will give a written Enrollment Contract to qualified applicants, which must be accepted and signed by the parent or guardian.
3. Students applying for re-admission to Colegio Maya must go through the above mentioned procedures.
4. Students admitted to Colegio Maya will receive a Student Handbook.For more information, please feel free to contact either of the following people:
