METHODOLOGY
Dear Parent:
In an effort to provide your children an integral education, Colegio Maya uses a teaching methodology that develops their autonomy.
Thanks to this, the responsibility and autonomy of our students have been greatly improved. Group work participation is even more effective; the students are able to organize, work and agree after debating over different points of view. Each week, the children reveal their day-to-day conflicts and are taught a peaceful solution.
Parents and teachers are encouraged to support and foster in children an attitude of self-sufficiency and autonomy, according to their age, so that they can improve in those areas. It is imperative to constantly promote the realization of autonomy-developing activities at school and at home.
As a reminder, our children’s education is more effective when family and school staff follow the same guidelines.
