PLAYING CORNERS
In order to be aligned with the school’s methodology and to provide students with entertainment options during recess, Colegio Maya has established “playing corners”. These are physical spaces that have been accommodated for a particular game or activity that is to be carried out in the student’s free time. It is to be noticed that students must abide by the rules and consequences defined for each area or “corner” so that order and fairness can be assured.
Dance Corner
Children dance and put together different choreographies that enable them to have fun and be creative. This is a very nice activity.
Board Game Corner
This is a new addition to the handful of activities children can perform. They make possible a lot of entertainment for players and also shows that, from 6 years of age, children can share with others in a disciplined environment.
Basketball and Jumping Rope
This is an excellent way to involve children in physical activities that are usually performed outdoors. The have a lot of fun and at the same time they are exercising for their wellbeing.
